Christian is the co-founder and chairman of Solar Provider Group. Coming from a fifth-generation family farming business, Christian has set out to harvest the sun’s energy in a slightly different way. In his career in the solar industry, Christian’s companies have built and interconnected more than 300 large-scale projects in the US, Canada, and Europe. Prior to founding SPG, Christian has arranged or participated in more than $5 billion of energy investments in the US. He has worked for Goldman Sachs’ Power Group, Traxis Partners, a $3 billion investment fund, and Credit Suisse’s Energy M&A division, all located in New York City. Christian is a CFA charter holder and has an MBA from the London Business School, as well as a BA in Economics from Columbia University.
Sebastian is the co-founder and CEO of Solar Provider Group. Throughout his career he has been involved in the construction and development of solar PV facilities totalling more than 100MW of installed generation capacity. With SPG, Sebastian has positioned the company to construct approximately 50+ MW of ground mount and 20+ MW of rooftop projects in 2016 throughout Canada, US and UK. Sebastian has a Bachelor in Business Administration from the Munich School of Management.
Steve Kiesling serves as Chief Financial Officer of Solar Provider Group. Holding a broad range of experience, Steve excels in understanding client, company, and situational needs to create effective solutions. Prior to his current role, Steve served as Executive Vice President for Sunstarter Solar, spearheading its development in the residential solar space. Earlier in his career, he worked as an analyst covering investments in energy, natural gas, private equity, and public equities. Steve graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Finance and Economics from Tulane University and graduated with an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Kumar co-ordinates all of SPG’s finances. Prior to joining the group, Kumar was part of a major business house in the Middle East and has gained over 20 years of experience. He has played major roles in Accounting, Finance and Taxation. Kumar worked in Dubai and Hong Kong before moving to Toronto. In Hong Kong he was a key team player in setting up a start-up venture as part of the ME business house. In Canada he learned Canadian taxes and specializes in corporate tax and now focuses on international taxes. Kumar is a Commerce graduate and also holds MBA from University of Northern IOWA.

Vice President, Global Operations
AJ is Vice President of Global Operations at Solar Provider Group. He has over 15 years of construction experience, with 8 years in solar energy and various other renewable technologies. AJ has amassed an impressive portfolio of projects built to date and has been crucial in the development of Solar Provider Group as a global entity. He comes from a background in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Business Administration, and Construction Project Management.
Director of Business Development (U.S. & Asia)
Jason Chiang serves as the Director of Business Development at Solar Provider Group, responsible for driving the company’s strategy and market development activities in the U.S. and Asia. Since joining Solar Provider Group, Jason has successfully built multiple solar markets and worked with various small to large enterprises and non-profits in developing customized solar solutions with streamlined contract offerings and financing. Prior to joining Solar Provider Group, Jason worked at BAE Systems, responsible for identifying, developing and winning over $100 million U.S. and foreign government contracts. Jason holds a BE in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University and an MBA from St. John’s University.

Kent has a background in Architectural Technology and has worked in various architectural firms prior to joining Solar Provider Group in 2012. His experience in building construction aided in Kent’s seamless transition into the rooftop solar industry. He has managed over 10 MW of Ontario FIT projects and has worked on various projects in California and United Kingdom. As a result of experience, Kent has been a key player in all phases of the project life cycle and has obtained expertise in solar engineering, procurement and construction.
